On Wednesday 19th July, we took 3 teams to Eagle Stadium for the Hooptime Tournament featuring many schools from our local area. Our teams included an All Star Boys team, an All Star Girls team and a Future Stars team.

The All Star Boys team played three Round Robin games, losing two games by two points ornless and winning one game comfortably. Unfortunately, with these results they did not make it into the finals. Their final game was a consolation game which they won by 4 points.

The All Star Girls team won two of their pool games and lost one by a point, to make it through to the semi-finals where they comfortably accounted for Queen of Peace Primary school to face off against St George Preca Primary, who defeated them in their round robin matches. In a hard-fought Grand Final, the girls went down to their rival team at 4-8.

It was a hard day at the office for our Future Stars team going down in all their matches in the round robin, but then earning a hard-fought win in their consolation game.

A big shoutout to our Year 9&10 students Aditri, Caitlyn, Sam, Divan and Johnathan for helping to coach the teams throughout the day.
