Our focus is upon the development of the whole child. In addition to striving for academic excellence, we also seek to foster the development of character, integrity and virtue, encouraging students grow in wisdom and discernment.

We believe that through partnering with parents, these values and ideals are instilled in our students as they learn under our care and guidance.

As a Christian School, we refer to this as whole child education with academic, spiritual, physical and emotional learning from a Biblical world view. Our well-informed curriculum and co-curricular programs seek to nurture students’ curiosity, awe and wonder. This equips them with skills to learn deeply and gain wisdom and provides opportunities for them to develop their gifts in order to become who God has called them to be.

We are a multi-denominational Christian school which provides Christian education to parents who want this style of whole child education based on God’s word for their children. We believe that

Our Theological Foundations Statement forms the basis of our belief and is a core part of our College identity.

As a learning community whose desire is for students to discover their potential, we strive to foster an attitude of excellence in all areas. Leading by example, our College Board and staff are committed to the Quality Statements which encompass learning, achievements, environment and management of our College.

Partnering with parents is a central component of our College, as we recognise that as part of God’s design, family is important and that God gives parents the responsibility to care for, discipline and instruct their children. It is through this partnership and mutual desire that staff act as 'parent delegates' to our students with parents supporting the long term journey of education.

Belong

God has created each of us as relational beings, designed to have a personal relationship with Him and each other. The need for connection is central to who we are as people. Each member of the Heathdale community is unique. As we come together and connect with each other we develop a sense of belonging and community.

Believe

We are explicit about our Christian faith, as expressed in our foundational documents.This belief shapes and permeates everything we do to enable students to grow in their understanding of God’s love for them and to explore His world.

We have been created as spiritual beings: to have a soul is to be human. Our prayer is that, as students are immersed in our community, they come to understand and believe that they were created to be in relationship with God through Jesus Christ.

We believe that each student in our care is a work in progress. It is God who continues to shape and mould them into the people He has called them to become.
