A big well done to all Heathdale students and our language teachers, who registered some amazing results in the Language Perfect World Championships from 14th-21st of May.
Language Perfect is program we use for all languages and the students earn points for the more work they do in the week of the Championships.
In all, we scored a massive 102,477 points for the week, over doubling our previous best score.
This means we finished 81st in the world, and 14th in Victoria. And a big well done to our Latin students who finished 1st in Victoria, and 2nd worldwide out of 835 schools!
Individually, Clark Harvey scored 6909 points, earning him an Emerald Award, the first ever won by a Heathdale Student. Seven students earned Gold Awards, Katarina Kunesevic, Lorna Denny, Meah Altair, Sophie Loi, Jason Lim, Chloe Munn and Jordan Labios.
Well done to everyone on a mighty effort, it was a lot of fun and competition, and hopefully everyone learnt a lot of Chinese, French and Latin along the way!
