During Science this term, Prep students have been learning about materials and what objects are made of. To help consolidate the learning, they have conducted some experiments using different materials and designs.
Through the design and careful choice of materials, students made a boat, and of course, tested them to see if they floated. Great success all round!
Next, the students set out to design and make a parachute. Using a variety of materials to create a canopy with the best drag, they became excellent scientists! Creating was fun but testing them out from the balcony or top of the playground, was very exciting!
