Our Holy Father God,
We recognise that education is not only about the teaching of academics to students, but also the nurturing the overall wellbeing and creating a school where students can grow and be supported. We pray for your wisdom and guidance in the school as we facilitate a safe and nurturing learning environment for all students.
We pray for the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellbeing of all the students of Heathdale. Give them strength and passion as they participate in school activities; love and compassion for their fellow peers; and resilience and perseverance as they face the challenges in front of them. May they learn and grow in understanding of your great gifts of grace and love and see the world around them in the way you see it.
We also pray for the families of our students, for the challenges and trials that many may be facing. For those experiencing physical illness, loss, stress or family pressures. May they feel your overflowing love and grace in difficult times, and also in times of joy. We ask for rest and peace for those who are tired, and your encouragement and mercy for those who are down.
Finally we ask for your wisdom and guidance to the teachers and staff of Heathdale. Guide them as they educate and support our students and families. Give them words of encouragement and affirmation, and wisdom and they build and foster a school environment for students to thrive and grow. May you bless our school, protect us from harm and guide us in your ways into the future
