Gracious God,
We pray for good friendships in our school. We pray that our students can build friendships that are filled with kindness and grace, that they can support and encourage one another and build each other up with encouragement and celebration.
Lord, teach us all what it means to be a good friend. Teach us how to be there for our friends when times are tough and show us the joy of laughing and playing with friends around us.
We pray for those students who find it tough to make friends. We ask that other students can reach out and invite them into their activities and make them feel welcomed in the things they do.
We ask that you build our school into a place where each student feels valued and included, that all our students will be actively looking out for each other and be full of encouragement and acceptance for all those around them.
In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.
