Dear Lord,
We just want to take a moment to acknowledge the significant meaning behind Remembrance Day. For all the men and women who laid down their life to defend our country we say thank you. We are so grateful for their incredible sacrifice, and we choose to remember them.
We are so grateful to live in a country free of war and we do not take for granted all those who have gone before us and given their lives for our nation.
We also choose to remember your great sacrifice in sending your Son Jesus who gave his life so that we could walk in freedom and have relationship with you.
We thank you that you are a God of peace, unity and freedom. Please help us to be people who bring about peace in our families, communities and in our nation.
