On Wednesday 3rd June, a selection of our Year 6 students from our Melton campus, visited our community partners at GoodStart Early Learning Centre, Kurunjang.
This is an outreach initiative which began two years ago and which continues to be enjoyed by both the Kindergarten children at GoodStart and “The Big Kids” as they call our Year 6 students.
Much fun was had last week during our visit to GoodStart as our students played and interacted with children from the 3- and 4-year-old Kindergarten rooms. Stories were read to upturned little faces, drawings were gifted to our students, racetracks were built, cuddles were exchanged and outdoor play was enjoyed by all.
The Kinder children loved learning about “big school” and can’t wait to visit us at the start of Term 3.
