We were truly blessed to celebrate Mother's Day with such a wonderful turnout at our recent breakfast event. The breakfast was a delightful opportunity to honour the incredible women in our community. We hope all our mothers felt cherished and appreciated, and enjoyed a little bit of dancing!
Our Mother's Day stall was a great success, offering students the chance to select special gifts that we hope you enjoyed on Sunday. The Mother’s Day stall is a huge event to manage, and we thank the parents in our community and staff who work tirelessly to help. If there are any dads out there who would like to help in the set-up of the stall or help at the breakfast next year, please contact the primary office. Mother's Day is a beautiful reminder that mothers are made in God's image and deserve to be celebrated every day.
Our recent 'Big Kids Table' event was a resounding success. Staff engaged in professional development sessions during the day, focusing on enhancing our educational practices and being able to lead children in learning about how God intends us to act towards each other. In the evening, we welcomed parents to continue the conversation, fostering a strong partnership between home and school. If there are topics you'd like us to explore in future sessions, please don't hesitate to reach out and let me know.
We're excited to announce that our car park upgrades will be completed very soon. There will be further help in navigating the car park kiss and drop when it opens, easing the morning drop-off routine. With this improvement, we encourage all families to aim for timely arrivals, ensuring students don't miss the vital start of the day.
Devotions are a cornerstone of our daily schedule, setting a positive tone and grounding students in faith and focus. Missing even the first 10 minutes can mean missing out on this important time of learning from God’s word, reflection, and community.
Consistent attendance is crucial. Even small amounts of missed time can accumulate, impacting a student's learning journey. Every moment at school is an opportunity for growth, and we aim to make each one count. If your child is frequently late, then their school will work with you to implement appropriate supports to assist your child and ensure they attend school every day on time.
Let's work together to foster habits of punctuality and commitment, ensuring our students reap the full benefits of their education, especially devotion time.
