Operation Christmas Child
Staff and students assembled together on Tuesday morning to send off the Christmas Child boxes which classes have been putting together over the past couple of months. Kinder-Yr 4 classes were able to fill 150 boxes from the items donated.
To help raise the postage to send the boxes, we invite families to contribute by sending students with a gold coin donation tomorrow, Friday November 1.
We are thankful to each family who contributed to these boxes with prayer and donations. We know your generous giving will bless another child elsewhere. Our students learn that strong community can grow from everyone doing their small part giving thanks to God for His provision in our lives and in permitting us to help in this way at Christmas.

Parent Information Night
Year 2-5 parents are invited to an information night tonight (Thursday, October 31) at 7.00pm which will be held at the Werribee Baptist Church. As we move from Junior and Middle School, to the Primary School starting in 2020, there will be some day-to-day changes. This night is designed to inform you about some of these changes as we move to this new structure next year.
You will also have a chance to meet key Primary staff, including our Heads of Learning Modules and hear about their roles next year.
There will also be a short Q&A time, where you can ask general questions about our new structure.
Mid-term Break & Student Free Days
A reminder that Heathdale Christian College has its mid-term break Monday, November 4 and Tuesday, November 5 (Melbourne Cup Day). We hope you are able to enjoy some family time over this extended weekend. We also have a Student Free Day for all Prep-Year 6 students on Friday, November 22. Please note these dates on your calendar.

Students have begun rehearsals and learning class songs for our celebration nights which are fast approaching! We look forward to seeing families in attendance and enjoying a wonderful time celebrating the year.
