Ishka A (Year 4) had the opportunity to participate in the Australian Government’s most recent anti-bullying campaign. As part of the 'Let's Stop Bullying' advertisement, she helped promote awareness of and action against bullying

At Heathdale, we are committed to fostering a culture where every student feels safe, valued and respected. These principles reflect our College values of Safety and Dignity, which underpin how we learn, grow and relate to one another each day. Our understanding of dignity is grounded in the Biblical belief that every person is made in the image of God (Imago Dei) and is therefore worthy of honour, care and respect.

The campaign encourages us to consider how we can recognise, report and stop bullying behaviours. Families can learn more by visiting the Let's Stop Bullying website, where the full video featuring Ishka and additional anti-bullying resources are available.

We are encouraged by the way our students seek to live out these Biblical values in their interactions with others. Bullying behaviour is not accepted at Heathdale, and staff and students work together to address concerns promptly, helping to maintain a safe and supportive environment for all.

Ishka is commended for her involvement in the campaign and for championing the values of Safety and Dignity through her advocacy against bullying.
