During Units 3 & 4 of VCE Art Making and Exhibiting (AME), students explored key influential artists, examining their styles, materials, techniques and ideas to inspire their own artmaking. Through this extensive exploration of materials, subject matter and aesthetics, they presented ‘Se Intueri.’

‘Se Intueri,’ Latin for "to look at oneself," is an exhibition showcasing the Year 12 AME students’ tenacity and commitment to creative exploration. It reflects their journey from observing the external world to exploring self-reflection and inner awareness, finding space where the noise of the world fades to reveal God’s work within.

Throughout the year, students pushed the boundaries of materials and techniques, developed themes and challenged their artistic practices to gain deeper insights into themselves, the present and the future. May the students' work in ‘Se Intueri’ offer you a moment “to look at oneself.”
