At Heathdale, we count it a blessing to be able to partner with parents to educate their children. That's why we are excited to celebrate Mother’s Day at Werribee Primary!
This morning, mothers, grandmothers and significant women in our children’s lives made some lovely memories at our Mother's Day Breakfast, where they enjoyed a pastry and fun activities before school, including music, playtime, fun dancing led by Mr Zimmerman and our photo walls. Thank you to everyone who came and made that hour before school so special!
Tomorrow, just in time for Mother's Day, students from Kinder to Year 6 will get to enjoy buying a special present from our traditional Mother's Day Stall! Children love to shop, but they especially love to give when they have independently made that thoughtful choice.
Each student is asked to bring $5 in an envelope to purchase one special item. We hope that you have encouraged your young ones to earn the $5 leading up to the stall, as it is extra special for them when they have a sense of pride in having earnt the money.
Please note that there is no need for students to bring bags, as we'll provide them for safe transport of their chosen gifts.
