Our Prep to Year 2 students have been having a fabulous time each Monday afternoon taking part in the Ready Steady Go Kids multi-sport program!
The sessions, run by Byron Dodds and Matthew Boicos, have been filled with laughter, teamwork, and plenty of active fun as students build confidence and develop their movement skills across a variety of sports.
It’s been wonderful to see so many children involved — in fact, there was even a waiting list this term! For those who missed out, we’re pleased to share that Ready Steady Go Kids plans to run sessions throughout the entire year in 2026, so keep an eye on future newsletters for enrolment details.
We’re proud to partner with Ready Steady Go Kids to support our students in staying active, learning new skills, and developing a lifelong love for sport.
Here’s what some of our students had to say…
“I like the hockey because you get to strike the ball with a stick. I also like the coaches.” Benjamin
“If we do all the sports, you can get a medal at the end of the year which is really cool. It’s so fun and will make you get fit.” Elijah
“I liked playing football and all the running games. It will help me be fit and strong. The coaches are very kind too”. Kaylee
“I like it when we get to do the obstacle course. We get to jump on things and if you knock something over you have to do five push-ups.” Emma
“I like playing ‘tug of war’, lifting the tyres and doing the obstacle course. You also get to have time with your friends.” Aloka
“I like running and playing hockey as you get to push a ball with a stick. The coaches are good too.” Riona
