In late July, Year 4s at the Werribee campus enjoyed an incursion about forces, where students enjoyed learning about physics with some cool experiments!
Year 4 student Samuel talks about what he learnt:
"The incursion was conducted by a company that goes by the name of 'Hands on Science' and was presented by a staff member named Alex. The incursion mainly focused on six experiments related to gravity, friction and magnets. The experiments included but were not limited to, using magnets to attract metal, weighing a newton's apple, using plastic ‘’rockets’’ and testing how much friction certain materials have. Most children enjoyed the experiment involving magnets the most." Samuel S.
