The College Captains and Vice-Captains from both Melton and Werribee participated in the 2026 Compass Student Leadership Conference in Canberra, where student leaders from many Christian schools across QLD, NSW, VIC and SA came together to explore Biblically-framed Christian leadership.
This is summarised well through their motto: “Know the Gospel. Know culture. Translate.”
The focus of this conference was recognising how God created and builds leadership within people from the Creation to the present. Themes centred around self-leadership, service one-to-another, sensitivity toward God, awareness of Biblical instruction, cultural understanding and how those understandings are translated.
Our desire is that, as these Year 12 students lead this year, they would be shaped by the truth of the Gospel, and that their example would reflect the love and heart of Jesus.
