In a formal ceremony last Friday afternoon, the Melton Campus dedicated three new buildings as part of a celebration to commemorate offering a Prep to Year 12 learning experience. It is both a celebration of what has been achieved and an affirmation of our ongoing commitment to Christian education in Melbourne’s West.
This event is a significant milestone in the College’s long-term vision for Christian education in the West. Our Melton campus now incorporates offering the full school journey from Prep–Year 12.
This celebration recognised the physical revitalisation of the VCE and Science buildings, and:
- Acknowledges the rich history of educational being provided from this site namely, Mowbray Secondary College in its closure and Heathdale’s commencement.
- Celebrates the significant milestone our first cohort of Year 12 students graduating from Melton this year as a mark of the campus’s maturity and growth; and,
- Looks to the future by celebrating the strong enrolment demand as a recognition of the high standards of Christian education, academic outcomes and the high levels of personal safety provided by the school. Excellent foundations have been laid for future students.
We were delighted to have Steve McGhie, the member for Melton in the Victorian Legislative Assembly deliver the address to our community, and present the plaque to honour the occasion and signify the occasion, which reads:
This plaque commemorates the formal opening of the VCE and Science Buildings — a significant milestone in the life of our Melton campus, marking the completion of the full learning journey and the graduation of our pioneering Year 12 Class of 2025.
“Let your roots grow down into Him, and let your lives be built on Him.” (Colossians 2:7)

Holiday Blessings
As we embark on the holidays, our prayers are for the safety and health of all school families. We wish you a restful and safe time for these two weeks.
I would ask that you continue to pray for our year 12 students as they continue to work towards their final exams. These students have trial examination in the first week of what others will experience as holidays. Please pray for them.
