Year 8 Chinese students celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival with special activities. The Mid-Autumn Festival, which celebrates family reunions and the season's harvest, is an important festival for the Chinese community and several other Asian countries.

They learnt the Chinese mythology of Chang'e 嫦娥 and the traditions surrounding the festival. Students also studied the Chinese poem '静夜思' and practised writing it on red paper folding fans. In addition, they visited the gym to play shuttlecock 毽子, a traditional Chinese sport.

Wishing you a happy Mid-Autumn Festival! 中秋节快乐!
