There was a wonderful sense of joy and celebration in the air as our Secondary Worship Band treated our P–2 students to a special Easter concert during lunchtime.
Led by Bethany, Aaron, Clark and Kaydee, the students brought great enthusiasm and energy, quickly gathering a lively and eager audience. Their set included well-loved songs such as 'One Way Jesus' and 'Father Abraham,' which had many students singing along with excitement.
In a delightful moment of collaboration, some of our P–2 students even took to the microphone to teach the Secondary students one of their favourites, 'The B.I.B.L.E.' It was a beautiful picture of community, with older and younger students learning from one another and sharing in the joy of worship.
With the sun shining and smiles all around, the atmosphere was full of fun and praise. Even Mrs Harvey joined in, encouraging the students to clap along and be part of the celebration.
We are so thankful for the way our Secondary students used their gifts to serve and bless others. It was a special time that brought our school community together in a joyful expression of faith this Easter season.
