Our Year 4 students across both campuses recently enjoyed an exciting visit from Wild Action Zoo, and it was certainly an unforgettable experience. The incursion gave students the opportunity to learn about a variety of fascinating animals up close while discovering more about their habitats, behaviours and unique features.

Students and teachers alike had a fantastic time interacting with the animals and hearing interesting facts from the presenters. There were plenty of laughs and memorable moments throughout the session. All students had the opportunity to hold or gently touch the animals, making the learning experience truly hands-on.

Of course, when working with live animals, there are always a few surprises. A couple of animals showed their cheeky personalities, with a few students getting an unexpected splash and one brave volunteer even receiving a friendly lick from a goanna. These moments only added to the excitement and gave everyone something to laugh about.

It was wonderful to see the curiosity and enthusiasm of our students as they asked thoughtful questions and learned more about wildlife. A big thank you to the Wild Action Zoo team for bringing such an engaging and educational experience to our school.
