Our students have made a remarkable come back from remote learning to on-campus learning this week. The joys of students’ laughter and greetings, along with inquisitive questions about a myriad of things, has been very missed and silent from our hallways and playgrounds for far too long! It has been with great delight to welcome primary students and now it is business as usual.
Revisiting and consolidating learning that has occurred has been an important focus this week. We have seen amazing versatility and resilience in our students this term. Students have also quickly adapted to coming back and making their own way into school. Parents you may be proud of their newfound confidence and flexibility in managing their morning routine on site. Parents are reminded that we need to practice social distancing on site for the safety and wellbeing of all. While carparks continue to be busy, we ask that drivers are very careful to only move slowly and when safe to do so.
During the last week of this term, Parent Teacher Conversations will occur to discuss your child’s learning across the semester. These will be accompanied by a new look Semester report distributed on the week commencing 23rd June. Please note these meetings will occur remotely via Microsoft Teams. Booking details will be emailed in the coming weeks.
May we all finish the half year of teaching and learning well, giving thanks with joy and gratitude to our Lord Jesus for the strength he provides each day.
Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for He who promised is faithful. Hebrews 10:23
