The Assembly Hall was buzzing with excitement on Tuesday 2nd September, as our Year 7–12 students went head-to-head in the House General Knowledge Competition. Students showcased their skills across a range of topics, with Kahoot quizzes forming the core of the event.
The competition kicked off with a 5-question trial round to get everyone familiar with the system, followed by Section 1 featuring Bible, Movies & Television, and Sport quizzes. Section 2 tested knowledge in Mathematics & Science, English & Literature, and General Knowledge & Current Affairs. The afternoon concluded with a House True or False crowd game, where students participated by signalling True or False with their arms – a lively test of both knowledge and House spirit.
Carey shone on the day, racking up an impressive 9,000 points, giving the House a welcome boost in the standings. Taylor followed with 5,800 points, Stanway finished strong with 5,400 points, while Judson scored 2,400 points.
A big thank you to all staff who helped manage the event, from guiding students to their House sections. The event was a fantastic display of energy, House pride, and friendly competition.
