Our P–2 VIP Afternoon was a wonderful way to finish the term, providing a special opportunity for students to proudly share their learning with parents and grandparents. It was a delight to see classrooms filled with excitement as children guided their VIPs through their work and spoke with confidence about their achievements.
A range of engaging maths games, puzzles and hands-on activities was set up both indoors and outdoors, inviting families to play, explore and learn together. The basketball hoops also got a great workout, with many taking the opportunity to shoot some hoops. What a fantastic addition these have been to our play spaces. There truly was a sea of people across the precinct and, even more importantly, a sea of smiling faces.
The photo booths in Year 1 and 2 were a particular highlight, capturing many fun and memorable moments. While the queues were certainly long, we hope the laughter and photos made the wait worthwhile.
Events like these remind us of the strength of our school community. We are so grateful for the opportunity to welcome families into our learning spaces and to share in these special moments together.
