At the end of last term on Thursday 28th March, our Year 10 Geography students embarked on an exciting excursion to Queenscliff as part of their unit on coastal environments and the diverse ways humans interact with and manage these spaces.

There were certainly a few nerves among students—and staff—before stepping onto the boat, but we were fortunate to enjoy a beautiful 29-degree day. Highlights included the chance to swim alongside seals and fish, with even a few dolphin sightings adding to the excitement!

The day was a fantastic opportunity for students to step outside their comfort zones and engage directly with the environments they’ve been studying in class. It was a memorable and enriching experience for all involved.
