The Werribee Campus Library recently had another great year holding the annual Pre-Loved Book Sale Fundraiser for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.
The event, run by the Library Leadership Team, saw hundreds of books find new homes, spreading the love of reading far and wide and raising $480! This donation will help to provide culturally relevant books, resources and First Nation translations of popular books to children in remote Communities to support their literacy journey.
On behalf of the Library and the Indigenous Literacy Foundation, we want to say a huge thank you to all staff and students who supported this cause, especially the Library Leaders who helped to plan the event, design and distribute posters to promote the sale, collect book donations, setup, run and pack up the stall.
