Dear God,
We as your people want to glorify Your name this Christmas, for You alone are worthy of all praise, honour and glory.
As we approach Christmas day, we are reminded once again of Your majesty and grace toward Your people. We are reminded once again at the sacrifice You made when You came down to earth with us. May we never presume on Your kindness and take for granted what You have done, and may You alone continue to receive all praise.
We thank you, Father, for the many blessings You bestow on us, for we know that "every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” (James 1:17)
Lord, may You be with us during this Christmas season. Keep us safe and fill our hearts with Your joy as we celebrate Jesus’ birth and victory with our loved ones.
You are our Joy. You are our Peace. You are no longer a babe in the manger; You are Lord of Lords and King of Kings, and we celebrate You as our Lord this Christmas.
