Usually at this time of the year our students in Primary and their families combine to donate with gift boxes or donations as we contribute to Samaritan’s Purse, through Operation Christmas Child gift boxes. However, due to current restrictions we will be supporting OCC differently this time around. We are asking families to consider if they can support this worthy cause by making a monetary donation via Samaritan’s Purse website, please click here to donate. As a College, we will also make a donation to Samaritan’s Purse on behalf of the Primary school. If a donation is not possible at this time, your prayers for the children receiving the gift boxes and their families would be very much appreciated. An email will be sent to parents next week with more details.
Heroes Dance Party: Kinder to Year 6
7pm, Friday 18th September
Put on your dancing shoes and join our community wearing your favourite Hero costumes. This is not the time to be shy, but to really let your creative movements loose in your home. Themes are great, and the whole family is most welcome to get in on the act. Make sure you take a family photo or video to treasure for the future. Our staff will all be there, too, with our Hero costumes on. Thanks to Mr Zimmerman and our Primary PE staff for organising this fun event. Further details to come. Don’t miss it!
As a staff we continue to pray for each of our students and families that you will know the Lord’s peace and blessings in each home.
