Heathdale flower

As we draw closely to the end of a wonderfully productive and joyful year of learning, we are grateful for the many blessings we have all enjoyed this year. The Bible tells us to count our blessings every day, and for all of us here at Heathdale, we count every student as a delightful blessing; their energy, enthusiasm, and joy for being present and learning each day is an inspiration to us all. Over this year, we have relished seeing each student grow and develop their skills, and we have appreciated their stickability in some unknown and new challenges!
Our students have grown enormously across the year; in confidence, in understanding, in growing their circle of friends, in personal and social skills and most evidently, in their learning journey. We have celebrated with our students for their perseverance and with each one who has tried their very best, celebrating and sharing in their pleasure when they see their achievements. We have also been thrilled to see those students who have stepped up to the challenges of learning, and are now ready for the journey ahead in the coming school year.

Thank you to our parents and guardians for your support and conversations and for partnering with us throughout this year. We as a staff have certainly enjoyed working with your children, and now pray that the coming break in two weeks’ time, will enable quality family time and refreshment over the holidays. May you all know a special measure of the grace of the Lord Jesus in your Christmas celebrations and refreshment and enjoyment of family time.

Yr 2-4 Celebration Nights

Congratulations to all students for your amazing work in rehearsing and practicing for this year’s celebration evening, ‘Back to the Future’. The songs sing of the faithfulness of our God, who through Jesus brought life and salvation to our world. It is our hope that these songs and message of God’s love will be remembered and reflected on as the year concludes. Congratulations also to our hard working staff team who have worked with students over the past months. Mrs Kristie Baker, Mrs Alice Cheong, Mrs Yelena Kunesevic and Mrs Nari Dent have led a strong supportive team of staff. Congratulations to all for a fine effort and most enjoyable performance of this timeless story that continues to inspire and bless us all.

Big Childcare

Big Childcare is able to provide care for Prep-Year 6 students during the holiday break. The activities planned are always fun and our students often report that they enjoy a variety of activities. Please go to the Big Childcare website to inquire and find out further details. Bookings can be made online at www.bigchildcare.com. I remind parents to register all primary aged students for the 2020 school year to ensure you can easily book online at any time. There is no charge to register your child/ren. You are welcome to drop in to speak with Josh, the Coordinator to find out more about the program plans for next year.
