College reports are written as a requirement from the Federal Government under the Schools Assistance Act 2004, as part of the Educational Accountability clauses. As per the requirement, Colleges are to provide information to families and the community in general, based on the previous year’s information. Therefore, College Reports are based on the previous school year.
After gathering and formulating this report, our Principal sees this as an opportunity to promote Heathdale’s Christian foundations and rationale and to communicate matters regarding the College community.
However, it in no way can encapsulate everything that happens in a school. Many of the immeasurable and fundamentally important aspects of a school, such as student happiness, go unnoticed in a report like this.
We are very proud of our College and this report. We are sure it will reflect very well on us as a College, our staff and our community in general.
We have still much we would like to achieve, which includes improved programs, facilities and results for our families. We need to continue to develop and change with the times so that we remain a vibrant and relevant Christian College that serves God faithfully and is of service to its families and to the community.
Please feel free to contact the College if you have any questions. We would be pleased to have the opportunity to show you around and to explain more fully what we are about and what we can offer.
